Will they remember me? Does anybody care? I would like to think so, but the older I get, the more I’m starting to doubt anyone will. They don’t know me enough to give a shit. And why should they? I never went out of my way to build, foster, or nurture any worthwhile relationships. I think, for the most part, that humans are good. Seemingly by nature, we care about the well-being of others. After all, we are social creatures. Yet at the same time, we can be deceitful, insensitive, selfish, and self-centered monsters. Conscious, aware, living, breathing Juxtapositions
